Darren Handley will be the man in the middle when Rovers travel to face Crawley Town in Sky Bet League Two on Tuesday night.
The Lancashire-based official was added to the EFL list of referees at the start of the 2014/15 campaign, and first took charge of Rovers in a goalless draw against MK Dons in October 2014.
He has overseen 16 fixtures so far this season, handing out 64 yellow cards and five reds in the process.
Handley will be assisted by Conor Farrell and Justin Amey at Broadfield Stadium. Stuart Butler is the fourth official.
