Neil Hair has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Salford City on Saturday.
The Cambridgeshire official has taken charge of 23 matches this term, with the majority coming in Sky Bet League Two. He has issued 85 yellow cards and six red across those games.
This will be his second outing of the season refereeing a Rovers game, having taken charge of the 1-0 win over Northampton Town in August, in which he awarded a penalty that George Miller converted.
He previously handled them on five other occasions over the last five seasons, beginning with the 3-1 win at Gillingham in December 2018.
Of the six matches in total, Rovers won three and lost one - the 4-1 defeat at Sunderland in February 2021 in which he awarded Rovers two penalties that were both missed.
Hair will be assisted by Robert Atkin and Michael George on Saturday while Matthew Sowerby has been assigned fourth official duties.
