Tom Anderson has backed Rovers to hit the ground running under the returning Grant McCann.
The skipper was part of McCann’s Rovers side in the 2018/19 season and says his teammates can expect to be put through the wringer to ensure they are ready for the challenge of the coming campaign.
“I think we’ve got a lot to look forward to,’ Anderson said. “I think it’s all about starting the season well and on the front foot. I think with this gaffer, we can do that.
“It’ll be a lot of hard work for the lads, intense training sessions. Training is always intense and sharp but the season we had with them was tough to make sure we were ready for the weekend.”
