Richard Wood has four promotions from Sky Bet League One on his CV and he is desperate to add one from League Two with Rovers.
The 37-year-old has signed a one-year deal with Rovers and has immediately set his sights on securing promotion to the third tier.
“In the last seven seasons I’ve got three League One promotions,” he said. “Every time I’ve been in there, I’ve done it. Why can’t I get another one in League Two straight away?”
