Scott Tallis has been appointed referee for Rovers’ Emirates FA Cup first round replay at Accrington Stanley on Tuesday.
The Birmingham official has taken charge of 12 matches this term, with the majority coming in Sky Bet League Two. He has issued 42 yellow cards and two reds across those games.
This will be his second outing of the season refereeing a Rovers game, having handled the 1-0 defeat to Harrogate Town on the opening day of the campaign when he awarded the visitors the match-winning penalty.
Tallis was one of eight referees to be promoted to the EFL for this season, having previously officiated at National League level.
He will be assisted by Lee Freeman and Lewis Raper on Tuesday while Darren Rogers has been assigned fourth official duties.
