Martin Coy has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Crewe Alexandra on November 25.
The Durham official has taken charge of 12 matches this term, with the majority coming in Sky Bet League One and League Two. He has issued 55 yellow cards and three reds across those games.
This will be his 11th outing refereeing a Rovers game, with his most recent being the 3-1 defeat to Plymouth Argyle at the Eco-Power Stadium in January 2022.
Of the ten previous matches, Rovers won six and lost four.
Coy will be assisted by Steven Rushton and Ollie Williams on Saturday while Ben Wyatt has been assigned fourth official duties.
