Ben Close’s stunning long distance strike at Forest Green Rovers has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two goal of the month award for September.
The midfielder curled in a brilliant effort from 40 yards in the 96th minute to secure a first league win of the season for Rovers in dramatic fashion at the New Lawn.
