Martin Woods has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Crawley Town on Tuesday.
The Lancashire official has taken charge of seven matches this term, with the majority coming in Sky Bet League Two. He has issued 20 yellow cards and two reds across those games.
This will be his first outing of the season refereeing a Rovers game but he previously handled them on one occasion - the 1-1 draw with Leyton Orient at the Eco-Power Stadium last term.
Woods will be assisted by Johnathon Bickerdike and Paul Newhouse on Tuesday while Garreth Rhodes has been assigned fourth official duties.
