Darren Drysale has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Grimsby Town on Saturday, October 28.
The Lincolnshire official has taken charge of eight matches this term, with the majority coming in Sky Bet League Two. He has issued 32 yellow cards and one red across those games, while awarding four penalties.
Drysdale has been overseeing games involving Rovers since December 2005 and has refereed 20 previous matches.
The most recent was last season’s 2-0 defeat at Sutton United. In total, Rovers have won ten matches with Drysdale in charge, with five ending in draws.
Drysdale will be assisted by Kevin Mulraine and Richard Wigglesworth on Saturday while Conor Brown has been assigned fourth official duties.
