Rovers will be just as focused on stamping their own approach as dealing with the physicality of Sutton United on Saturday according to Grant McCann.
The Rovers boss is expecting a test of physicality from Sutton and has warned his players they must be ready to compete on that front in search of the win.
But he is just as determined for Rovers to play their own game at the Eco-Power Stadium.
“We’re expecting a physical game,” McCann said. “We know we need to be good on first contacts, second balls, set plays, long throws. We’re going to have to be good at all that on Saturday and match them in every department.
“But on the back of that we want to play our own game. We want to make sure it’s what we do on Saturday. We want to be in control of every aspect and every phase of the game.
“A lot of work has started on that already and we’ll continue that looking forward to Saturday.”
