The task for Rovers is to maintain the consistency in performance they showed in Saturday’s excellent win over Gillingham according to goalkeeper Louis Jones.
Rovers showed a great deal of control against a side that started the day as leaders of Sky Bet League Two and secured the win with two brilliant strikes from Ben Close.
And Jones - who was again in fine form between the sticks - says the result was a demonstration of what can happen when the side sticks to task throughout.
“Consistency is what we need now,” he said. “We’ve been saying for the last few weeks that performances have been getting better and we just needed results.
“There were times at Forest Green when we didn’t perform well but I think in this one we performed well throughout and deserved to win.
“As long as we can keep performing, results will come.”
