Jack Senior says Rovers must harness the positives of their last two performances as they look for a first win of the season against Swindon Town.
Rovers were excellent against MK Dons last weekend before a superb performance to push Premier League Everton all the way in the Carabao Cup.
Speaking to the media ahead of the visit of Swindon, versatile defender Senior says the standard of performance has been set but gaining positive results must come next.
“We have now created a platform for ourselves to go on and express what we want to do as a team going forward,” the 26-year-old said.
“The performance against MK Dons, especially in the second half, for a team that is towards the top of the league, it was very one-sided in our favour.
“We can take all the positives from that, and then doing it against Premier League opposition is a good stepping stone for us to take into the weekend and hopefully carry it on.
“We’ve created positives but ultimately the results have been negative. It’s about putting the two together, creating a performance and getting a result.”
