Rovers U18s will kick off their Merit League campaign on home soil as they welcome Notts County to Cantley Park on Saturday, April 6.
Frank Sinclair’s side will compete in the second tier of the Merit League after finishing eighth in this season’s EFL Youth Alliance League.
Having finished inside the bottom half, the youth team will have four games to play before the season’s completion with their final league placing capped at a best of seventh.
That campaign starts this weekend with the visit of Notts County as Rovers look to edge their head-to-head rivalry against the Magpies with both sides taking a victory each from the previous two meetings.
The youth team then hit the road for a third trip to Huddersfield Town this season on Saturday, April 20 as they look to emulate their 4-0 League Cup success at Canalside back in September.
Sinclair’s side will then return to home comforts for the final time to reignite their recent rivalry with Grimsby Town on April 27 before rounding their season off in the same fashion as last year, with a trip to reigning champions Harrogate Town on Saturday, May 4.
