Will Finnie has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Bradford City in the quarter-finals of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.
The Bedfordshire official has taken charge of 28 matches this term, with the majority coming in Sky Bet League One. He has issued 99 yellow cards and six red across those games.
This will be his first outing of the season refereeing a Rovers game but he previously handled them on four occasions between the 2020/21 and 21/22 seasons.
His most recent game involving Rovers was the 2-0 win over Burton Albion at the Eco-Power Stadium in April 2022. Of the four matches, Rovers won three and drawn one.
Finnie will be assisted by Emily Carney and Lisa Rashid on Tuesday while Scott Tallis has been assigned fourth official duties.
