Rovers can confirm that our scheduled visit to Bradford City on January 20 has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
A pitch inspection was held at 1.30pm on Friday at the University of Bradford Stadium after sub zero temperatures through the course of the week left parts of the playing surface frozen.
A PGMOL official carried out the inspection and deemed the surface unplayable and was also not confident that conditions would improve sufficiently in time for kick-off on Saturday.
Frost covers, effective to -4°C, have been covering the pitch for more than a week with every effort made to host the fixture.
All tickets purchased for the clash will remain valid for the rearranged fixture. A rescheduled date will be confirmed in due course.
