Officials confirmed for Stockport County clash

26 January 2024

David Rock has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Stockport County on January 27.

The Hertfordshire official has taken charge of 23 matches this term, with the majority coming in Sky Bet League One and League Two. He has issued 87 yellow cards and six reds across those games.

This will be his first outing of the season refereeing a Rovers game but he previously handled them on five occasions over the previous four campaigns, since being promoted to the EFL in 2019.

His most recent game involving Rovers was last season’s 2-0 home defeat to Harrogate Town. Of the five matches, Rovers won three - all coming in the 2019/20 campaign - with two losses.

Rock will be assisted by Kevin Mulraine and Jack Forder on Saturday while Oliver Bickle has been assigned fourth official duties.
