Leigh Doughty has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Bradford City on March 5.
The Lancashire official has taken charge of 22 matches this term, with the majority coming in the Sky Bet Championship and League One. He has issued 92 yellow cards and three reds across those games.
This will be his second outing of the season refereeing a Rovers game, having taken charge of the 2-1 defeat at Wrexham in September.
His other previous time officiating a Rovers game was the 3-0 win at Tranmere Rovers in February 2020.
Doughty will be assisted by Ivan Stankovic and Mark Jones on Saturday while Ross Joyce has been assigned fourth official duties.
