Grant McCann felt it was going to take a touch of magic to decide the game as Hakeeb Adelakun did just that to send Rovers on their way to a 2-0 win at Crawley Town.
Adelakun produced a stunning individual effort to edge Rovers ahead in the battle of Sky Bet League Two's form teams.
And Rovers stood up superbly following Tom Anderson's dismissal on 66 minutes, before Maxime Biamou made sure of the win in added time.
