Grant McCann was pleased his Rovers side heeded his half time warning about upping their efforts as they went on to see out a comfortable win over Crewe Alexandra.
Rovers led by a single goal at the break after Hakeeb Adelakun scored directly from a corner but McCann felt they failed to push after finding the advantage.
But, speaking to the media after the game, he was delighted with the second half showing as Tommy Rowe doubled the lead and Rovers looked the more threatening side.
