Officials confirmed for Swindon Town clash

13 March 2024

Farai Hallam has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Swindon Town on Saturday, March 16.

After being released by Stevenage in 2012, Hallam pursued a career in refereeing and has worked as a referee development officer for the Football Association.

The Surrey-based official has taken charge of 23 matches this term, with the majority coming in the National League. He has issued 76 yellow cards and two reds across those games.

This will be his first outing of the season refereeing a Rovers game and third match of the term in Sky Bet League Two.

He has previously handled Rovers on one other occasion - the 2-1 defeat at Walsall on the final day of last season, which happened to be his first ever outing in the EFL.

Hallam will be assisted by David Harrison and Marc Wilson on Saturday while Scott Tallis has been assigned fourth official duties.
