Striker suffers set back as his initial loan spell with Doncaster Rovers comes to an end.
Paul Dickov confirmed to Rovers Player today that Federico Macheda suffered a hamstring problem at the game against Leicester City last Saturday. Macheda came off in the second half to be replaced by James Coppinger after struggling with the injury.
Dickov “He came off with a tight hamstring and will be missing for a good few weeks but we are still looking at extending his deal as we hope to have him back soon. We are speaking to Manchester United to do a deal to get him back once he is fit”
