Bursting through from non-league, Omar Bogle has since achieved promotion to the Premier League and has played in the Eredivisie.
Rovers’ fans should be excited to see what the former England C international can do in his first full season at the club.
After three prolific terms in the Conference North with Solihull Moors, Bogle fired Grimsby Town into League Two and scored 19 goals in his first season in the EFL.
This led to moves to Championship sides Wigan Athletic and Cardiff City, his three goals for the latter helped the Bluebirds earn a second promotion to the Premier League.
Following several loan spells including a brief period in the Dutch Eredivisie, Bogle arrived at Rovers on a permanent basis in January, signing from Charlton Athletic.
