New regular survey keeps the dialogue going

Back in April last season, Rovers’ fans responded in their hundreds to the Club’s first ever Fan Experience Survey. Not only did the feedback help shape the resulting #InRoversWeTrust supporter engagement programme, but it also recorded what fans thought about their club, what needed improving and, most importantly, just howvaluedRovers fans felt.

Since the survey was launched the Club have already introduced some subtle and some more noticeable changes at Doncaster Rovers, here are just some of them;-

-Doncaster Rovers fans chose the final design of the away kit by an e-mail vote

-Doncaster Rovers fans also chose the Club’s official charity partner for 2012.13

-The Lakeside Bar was renamed the Belle Vue Bar

-Areas of the stadium have been painted red to make it feel more like home

-Plastic pint glasses were replaced with glass pint glasses in the Belle Vue Bar

-Categorisation of games were removed as fans suggested match day prices for 2012.13

-Busses away from Keepmoat Stadium have been put on to improve transport away from the ground on a match day

-The Club have started selling tickets in a range of locations across Doncaster to assist fans who live away from the ground

-The Club are trialling a cash gate proposal at the Chesterfield match in October.

The Club is committed to a permanent dialogue with supporters, with the aim of ensuring that current and future improvements are the direct result of an honest, committed and creative partnership between fans and the Club. So to ensure this happens, we’re asking fans to click on the link (below) and complete ashort surveyon progress so far.

Gavin Baldwin, Rovers’ CEO, added:

‘The work we’ve done in recent months is not a one-off. Far from it. It represents the first few steps in a long-term partnership with supporters to create a Club everyone feels proud of.  So by regularly measuring how valued our supporters feel, we’ll have a really strong indicator of progress.  I would therefore invite Rovers fans not only to take the survey but also to encourage friends and family to complete it too.  We’d like as many supporters as possible to tell us exactly how we’re doing.’

There are only 8 questions to answer and the survey should take no longer than 5 minutes.

We will publish the results through all of the Club’s communications channels and keep supporters updated on all future activity.

If you have any questions about the survey please email  shaun.lockwood@doncasterroversfc.co.ukor phone 01302 764664
