Rovers have teamed up with official sandwich supplier Subway of Baxtergate, Doncaster to provide great rewards to the Rovers faithful and can confirm that the branch have become an official partner of the club for the next 12 months.Together, Doncaster Rovers and Subway, Baxtergate will carry out a range of promotional activities to help build the profile of the brand new store while brining some fantastic benefits to our fans.
To celebrate the partnership, Subway, Baxtergate have provided an array of exclusive vouchers for our Season Ticket holders which are enclosed within the 2014/15 season ticket books.
In addition, Junior Rovers members are also entitled to a free membership card enabling them to eat free at the Subway, Baxtergate branch.* Membership cards are available for all Junior Rovers members and can be collected from the main reception at the Keepmoat Stadium. To launch the partnership, Donny Dog made a special visit to meet his new friend ‘Subman’ at the Baxtergate Subway. Both mascots spent some time meeting some of our younger fans and Subway customers in Doncaster.
New franchise owners Brian and Matthew Bulley said it was a move that made sense to the company. “To link up with a club with the stature of Doncaster Rovers and get involved with the local community was something that we were very excited with,” he said.
“We wanted to give something back to the people of the town and promote not only our brand but that of healthy eating and what we stand for.”
Commercial Marketing Executive Jade Sims explained her delight at completing the wrap: “Subway is a well known international brand, but through this partnership we will help to raise the profile of the new Subway Baxtergate store. Hopefully, with the array of benefits on offer to Rovers supporters they will become a firm favourite amongst our fans.
“It’s great to launch a partnership with a local business that is mutually beneficial, helping a local business to grow their customer base whilst providing some fantastic exclusive benefits for our fans. I’m pleased that season ticket holders will receive another benefit for their commitment to the club and not forgetting our junior fans who will no doubt be taking advantage of the ‘kids eat free’ offering.
