Rovers Roadshow visits

21 December 2017

Players visited local primary schools on Tuesday as part of the Rovers Roadshow.

Liam Mandeville, Ian Lawlor, Harry Toffolo and Joe Wright were welcomed into Dunsville Primary and Hatfield Woodhouse schools in visits organised by the Club Doncaster Foundation.

The pupils asked the players questions on the subject of how they became footballers and what they do in their spare time.

Lawlor said: “It was great to spend time with the pupils, and they had some great questions for Harry and myself.

“These Rovers Roadshow visits are a big part of the club and I hope to see plenty of them again at the Plymouth game.”

Club Doncaster marketing manager Mark Hughesman said: “We are continuing our push to get the team out to meet pupils from schools in the local area and it has been great to call in at two schools.

“All the pupils seemed to have a great time and were very enthusiastic when coming up with questions to ask the players.

“We left letters with free tickets for our next home game against Plymouth, so we hope to see some of the pupils then.”

Tickets for the home games against Northampton, Rochdale and Plymouth are available to purchase now at tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk.
