Fans flocked to the club shop on Friday evening to collect their new replica shirt at our Silver Plus and pre-order event.
To mark the occasion, all fans who pre-ordered or are a Silver Plus membership holder were greeted with Champagne and refreshments upon entry as they queued to collected their shirt in time for summer.
Home, away and goalkeeper kits were available for collection with fans delighted to see the new strip in the flesh.
Supporter Anna Cousins said: “I love this season’s shirt because it marks so many happy memories and amazing achievements.
“I hope to be able to continue watching, supporting and absorbing the whole Rovers experience.”
Fans also got to see the new home shirt with the red lettering and numbering, which was the main reason behind the dissolving red stripe on the back.
Andrew Whitham, Club Doncaster’s head of commercial, said: “We wanted the shirt to be iconic and the red and white hoops are symbolic to Doncaster Rovers.
“Within the design we aimed to ensure the numbering and lettering remained in one of these two colours, and believe that the vanishing hoop on the back makes this possible.
“After all, these shirts will have sentimental value to our fans and will be part of collections.”
If you didn’t head to the club shop on Friday pre-ordered and Silver Plus shirts are still available for collection, with the club shop opening times back to standard hours.
The 2017/18 replica shirts are available to order now and will be available for collection mid July.

Bert and Sheila Hurst, Rovers fans for 60 years, said: “I purchased a Silver Plus Membership, I thought it was well worth it – you get the new Home shirt a (season) ticket for the Rugby, your programme and the half time draw.
“Sheila always enters the half-time draw, we always buy programmes and always pay for car parking, plus the shirt - it was good value.”
Sheila added: “You get your value back with the shirt, it was a no brainer when you add it all up. I don’t know why all Rovers fans don’t get them.”
