Keepmoat to host junior finals

The Doncaster District Junior Sunday Football League finals will be played at the Keepmoat Stadium.

This is the first time the finals, which will take place on April 30, will be played at the Keepmoat Stadium - although they have previously been staged at Belle Vue.

The finals chosen to play at the Keepmoat Stadium are the U15s, U16s and U18s between 10am and 1pm. Admission for the finals is free for spectators.

Club Doncaster chief executive Gavin Baldwin said: "Club Doncaster is an organisation which prides itself on community values, so it is fantastic to be able to host these finals.

"I hope these young players are inspired by following in the footsteps of Rovers greats, and am sure this partnership will go on from strength to strength."

Martyn Wilson. the chairman of DDJSFL, said: “It gives youngsters in our league a once in a lifetime opportunity to play in a professional stadium and on a first class pitch.

“We are delighted to bring it back and it’s just the start of us working together with Club Doncaster.”
