Loan Update

1 December 2015

Trio record win, loss and draw with respective loan clubs.

Three of Doncaster Rovers loanees had varying fortunes at the weekend.

Richie Wellens
Wellens got over half an hour from the bench as a second half substitute for Oldham Athletic in their 1-0 defeat to League One basement side Crewe Alexandra at Gresty Road. The 35 year old joined his former club in loan deal until January 2nd just last week.

Paul McKay
Highly rated defender McKay played the full ninety minutes for Gainsborough Trinity and helped the North Lincolnshire side keep a clean sheet at The Northolme in their 0-0 draw against Ashton United in the FA Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round. The pair will replay tonight.

Liam Mandeville
Mandeville’s Whitby Town romped to a 4-1 win over Mickleover Sports, having gone down against the Derbyshire outfit the previous week. The promising young striker was an unused substitute for the Seasiders who remain in the bottom four of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division.
