M18 J3 Roadwork information

24 November 2015

Rovers work in "con-junction" with Highways Agency.

Doncaster Rovers have put first those supporters travelling by car to Tuesday’s game against Chesterfield after working together with ‘Highways England’s Managing Agent in Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire’.

Fans will now be able to commute safely and easily away from Keepmoat Stadium after Tuesday’s game with the Spireites after the club specifically asked the requisite bodies for a delay to the proposed roadworks which are due to begin shortly on the St Catherine’s Interchange East and West Bridges which carry the A6182 over the M18 Motorway at Junction 3.

Highways England said: “In order to carry out these works it will be necessary for the M18 Junction 3 to be closed at times in both directions. When this occurs it will be signed in advance and a fully signed diversion will be in place.

“It is envisaged that disruption caused by these works will be minimal and every effort has been made to ensure this.  However, we apologise in advance for any disruption which will be generated by these works.  When complete these works will improve the safety and reliability within the vicinity of the bridge.

“If you would like to discuss any aspect of this scheme, or would like any further information please contact 0300 123 5000 or email info@Highwaysengland.co.uk"
