Rovers fans encouraged to donate to Doncaster hero's chosen charity.

Following the recent announcement of our ‘Bantams Bargain’ - where ticket prices for our vital Yorkshire derby clash with Bradford City have been reduced - fans are encouraged to donate some of the savings that they have made to the chosen charity of Doncaster hero Ben Parkinson.

Ben, a Member of the British Empire (MBE), is known and admired not only throughout Doncaster but nationwide also. He was so severely injured serving in combat for the Royal Army in Afghanistan that he was recognised as Britain’s most severely injured soldier to have survived his wounds.

He has since devoted his life to a number of charities and an extensive and astonishing rehabilitation programme which has enabled him to partake in many gruelling activities including carrying the Olympic Torch through the Town Centre back in 2012!

A Rovers Season Ticket holder in the West Stand, Ben and associates will be our guests of honour for the game against Bradford City as funds are raised for ‘Pilgrim Bandits’ - a charity which enables injured servicemen to take part in new life experiences and challenges in spite of their disabilities.

Tickets for Doncaster Rovers v Bradford City can be purchased by CLICKING HERE or by calling 01302 762576.
