MyMedic named new Charity 100 title sponsor

3 April 2024

Club Doncaster are proud to announce that the Charity100 programme has a new sponsor that will see good causes across the area benefit from our combined support.

Existing 100Club partner MyMedic has taken up the mantle as Charity100 sponsors.

MyMedic is a locally-based company providing healthcare services to the NHS and commercial sector, including specialist recruitment, medical event cover and advice on licenses and insurances relating to medical matters.

Through the relationship with Club Doncaster, any tickets, shirts or experiences gifted to charities will be subsidised by MyMedic, meaning even more worthwhile causes can benefit.

MyMedic chief operations officer Gareth Bennett said the partnership fits perfectly with the company’s values.

He said: “We are extremely excited to be partnering with Club Doncaster on such a worthy project.

“As a company we are committed to the communities that we serve and this is a great opportunity to raise the profile of the company while providing valuable opportunities for those in need.

“We offer a range of services to the healthcare sector but also advise on health and medical matters to the commercial sector such as first aid provision and health screening for drivers in the freight and logistics industry.”

Launched in 2022, the Charity100 programme was designed to focus the club’s charity efforts and as a commitment to supporting 100 good causes throughout the year.

This includes the main charity partner Club Doncaster Foundation, EFL affiliate charities and local initiatives across a tiered system.

Club Doncaster chief commercial officer Jon Warburton said: “We’ve managed to support a wide range of community groups and good causes across Doncaster and beyond.

“The reason why we brought it into being was the sheer number of requests we receive as a football club for support from charities and general worthwhile good causes.

“We’d love to support them all but that is not always possible so the idea of Charity100 was to commit as a club over 12 months to support 100 requests.

For information on how you can apply to benefit from the Charity100 programme either as a registered charity or just simply if you believe you know of a cause in Doncaster worthy of support, please email commercial@clubdoncaster.co.uk to find out more.
